Refund & Cancellation Policy
At Cheers & Co London, we understand that plans can change. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms applicable to all bookings for bartender hire, cocktail masterclasses, private events, corporate events, and related services.
1. Booking Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed only once:
A written confirmation has been received from both parties; and
Any required deposit has been paid.
Until a booking is confirmed, we reserve the right to accept other enquiries for the requested date.
2. Deposits
To secure your event date, a deposit may be required at the time of booking.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
Deposits are non-refundable.
Deposits secure the availability of our services and cover administrative and planning costs associated with your event.
3. Client Cancellations
More than 30 days before the event
If the booking is cancelled more than 30 days before the scheduled event date:
Any payments made beyond the deposit may be refunded.
The deposit will be retained.
Between 14 and 30 days before the event
If the booking is cancelled between 14 and 30 days before the event:
Up to 50% of the total booking value may be retained.
Less than 14 days before the event
If the booking is cancelled less than 14 days before the event:
Up to 100% of the total booking fee may be charged.
This reflects the loss of business opportunity and preparation costs incurred.
4. Rescheduling
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise.
Requests to reschedule an event must be made in writing and are subject to availability.
Where possible, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate a new date. Any deposits paid may be transferred to the rescheduled event at our discretion.
5. Changes to Guest Numbers or Event Details
Any significant changes to:
Guest numbers
Event duration
Location
Service requirements
must be communicated as soon as possible.
Additional charges may apply where changes impact staffing requirements, preparation time, travel, or supplies.
6. Cancellation by Cheers & Co London
In the unlikely event that we are unable to fulfil a confirmed booking due to exceptional circumstances beyond our control, we will:
Provide a full refund of any payments received; or
Offer an alternative date where possible.
Our liability shall be limited to the amount paid for the affected booking.
7. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Severe weather conditions
Government restrictions
Public emergencies
Natural disasters
Transport disruptions
Illness or other unforeseen events
In such circumstances, we will work with clients to find a fair and reasonable solution wherever possible.
